I’m sat playing King Kong on my newly purchased Xbox when suddenly inspiration hits me. This NEEDS a Mat Growcott style parody, if only so that I can do my god awful Peter Jackson impression again.

Nobody told me that the game doesn’t really follow the plot of the film, but then again it doesn’t matter. This is the sequel to King Kong that will never happen.

PopeMan Chronicles

After watching Batman Begins I decided that my very own Superhero, PopeMan, needed an origins story but, this being the internet and me being a poor moneyless writer, nobody would really care about how Popeman came into the world and why he became a superhero.

So we slipped in the Girl-eating-shark reference and had a story set in the present, keeping the action in two different time-lines not entirely unlike Godfather 2.

PopeMan!

The Cold Mean Streets of Vatican City are becoming slightly less mean thanks to PopeMan and his young ward Cardinal Boy. Together they will beat off the evils of Duckman, Jelly Belly Yelly Man and Satan.

Full of references to the camp age of Superheroes and the secret identity of the Pope, I received a death threat for this. I loved it.

I LOVE this play. Not only because I spent over 12 hours mixing it on Christmas Eve many years ago. It has a charm to it, a nice skewed view of the Charles Dickens classic. Also, I remember having Chinese food that night. Oh, and it was Christmas the day after.

A Random Zombie Movie

After the first two episodes of Bored of the Rings I felt I needed to do something a little different. I called upon Alex Green and Ant Jackson – the other members of comedy troupe Random Insanity – and we performed in this spoof of the Zombie genre.

You wouldn’t have thought Bored of the Rings was the sort of thing that could have any sort of spin-off or continuation beyond the main story line. That’s why the BBC turned down my script. In all honesty, they were right – as proven in the Christmas special here. That’s a bumpy ride. Also find my ‘Lord of the Rings’ test that I used to try and work out how the music would work in the remastered episodes and 3&4. And a trailer.

Because trailers are cool.
